I have been having a Spring Clean ... a sort out ... and a clear out ... there is something about the Spring that makes me want to clear out under the bed and buy new make up ... and this Spring is no different ... I have been through my nail varnishes, (among other things) and got rid of colours I don't use and ones that are past their best ... this of course made me want to buy some more (!!) and so I was thrilled to see that
Boots have an offer on at the moment ... buy 2 get one free on make-up! ... so I made up a pretty colour pallet ...
what do you think? ... I love them all ... so put them all on ... (except the clear one)
(The thumb colour is the same colour as the ring)

... well it's all over ... their flying visit is over ... they have gone :(
We had a lovely day though and Kara and I did our nails ... she had every nail a different colour with flowers on each one
... and I had lighting scars for going to see Harry Potter ...
... which was GREAT by the way ... Considering they missed so much out of The Half Blood Prince, I think they did a good job of getting it all into this one. Favourite bit include Mollie Weesley/Bellatrix Lestrange dual, Snapes memories and seeing who acted Aberforth Dumbledore :)

... my eBay shopping spree has spread to my nails ... I bought some bits from China that arrived this morning ... 24 nail art varnish pens and 1000's of little gems etc to stick on to your nails (Oh what am I turning into??)
They fill up my
nail trug perfectly :)
I have a huge list of jobs to get through, but I couldn't wait any longer and had a play ;)
These new nail pens
are brilliant, but the glitter ones sadly often came out clear with no
glitter ... had to keep shaking, prodding with the tiny pin and wiping
it ... I am very pleased with the results though and think the little gems
finish it off perfectly ... problem is I now can not do any washing up
.... for at least a week ;) hehe!!
As you may have gathered over the last few months ... I have been enjoying doing my nails ... so much so that my usual pot of clear nail varnish and its friend my pot of gold nail varnish have been joined by about 10 others (mostly shades of pink! hehe) ... well for a few weeks I have been on the look out for something to put my ever growing nail varnish collection in ... well today I found it ... a pretty little wooden basket ... in the antiques centre of all things (although it isn't old!)
... and look ........ lots more room for other varnishes that may come along!
To celebrate my new container, I have re-done my nails ... spotty dotty ...
It's sooo hot ... I am meant to be studying, but I am just too hot ... now inspired by
CRAFTYMINX's lovely nails I bought some shades of pink nail varnish this morning from the factory shop ... only £1 each!
Painting my nails is about where my concentration has been this afternoon, so here they are ...

Shades of pink ... I love them! and I am really loving the nail varnish ... it's made by
New York Color. I have bought nail varnish cheap before and it has been horrid and rubbish, but this is lovely ... I have to go back into town tomorrow so may just have to pop back in there and see what other colours I can get!
Well me and my pink nails really should start studying ... its raining heavily now so hopefully it will clear the air.

Today was Auntie Felicity's funeral ... it was a really lovely day ... seeing family and celebrating her life. She was only 58, but as someone with down's, that's not bad! The eulogy my auntie gave was beautiful and definitely set off the tears.
This was her as a little girl ... wasn't she pretty!
She was passionate about pink so we all wore something pink for her ... I also painted my nails ... pink strawberries ... I love them ... I hope she would have too.
It was a long day taking about 3 1/2 hours each way, but I am so glad I went ... family are so important and I am so blessed with mine x
