My heart for Maria in the Wood, is to share something that will help you create moments for yourself. As a busy mum I have often felt that my passions have taken a back seat. I told myself was ‘fine’ as it was only for a season while the boy were young, and once they were older I would have all the time in the world. But by not allowing myself those moments just for me, was actually bad for my mental health. Being creative was so much a part of me that I felt like I had lost who I was.
I hope to fill this site with lovely things to help you relax and craft yourself a few moments in your day just for you!
Moments to help you relax, however that may be ... reading a book with a beautiful bookmark, having a bath with gorgeous bath salts, diffusers to fill your home with a lovely aroma, essential oil rollers to wear as a perfume or help calm your mind and greetings cards and notelets to write to your friends. But most of all craft supplies and kits so your time not only fills your heart with peace but with joy with what you have created.
As well as all these lovely goodies , I will be selling what I have made in the five minutes I for myself. Jewellery and treasures for your home. These will not all be listed at once and many will be bespoke or a limited run.
